The study predicts that UAE residents could embark on up to two international trips in the next year.


Top Destinations for UAE Travellers This Eid al-Fitr


According to dnata Travel’s report, holidays in the Maldives, Thailand, Italy, Mauritius, and the United States are the top choices for UAE residents planning their Eid al-Fitr vacations. These destinations have seen a significant uptick in interest, with the Maldives, Mauritius, and Thailand consistently attracting travellers with their tropical allure and proximity to the UAE. Italy and the US have emerged as new favourites, with Rome, Venice, New York City, and Las Vegas highlighted as key urban destinations.


Meerah Ketait, Head of Retail and Leisure UAE at dnata Travel, noted, “With an extended Eid break expected this April, we’re seeing travellers seize the opportunity for longer, more adventurous holidays. Bookings for long-haul destinations in Asia and the US are notably higher, reflecting a desire for diverse and enriching travel experiences.”
